Resume:

Six hundred years ago, the Ming had already started to form what is now known as the intelligence agencies, something that at times it is not a norm. The emperor's personal bodyguard was also recruited and trained in an unusual way as well. The result, a team which became the most feared weapon at the time.

The emperor's personal bodyguard was recruited from the streets. The orphans who have no home was assembled and trained in various martial arts and given a unique weapon. The guards are always bringing fourteen blades sharp weapon which each have their own functions. Eight blade weapons used to torture opponents while five blades are used to kill. The last one they never use this one because they savings as a means of suicide if their mission fails.

One time, the Empire been won and Qinglong (Donnie Yen) emperor of the best guards assigned to retrieve a list of people who are still loyal to the emperor. Without the knowledge of Qinglong, it turns out the entire army guards the emperor has successfully mastered the enemy and my own Qinglong to join forces to retake power from the hands of the enemy.
